A climate friendly food system in your neighbourhoodย

We wrote a book!

Growing Together is a vibrant and deeply personal account of our first 40 years as Aucklandโ€™s pioneering urban organic farm. Co-authored by Jo-Anne Hazel and Adrian Roche and packed with wonderful images, this book traces Kelmarnaโ€™s journey from a visionary experiment in 1981 to a thriving hub of sustainable food production, education, and therapeutic connection.

Welcome!

Weโ€™d love you to join our 40+ year journey to support a resilient, healthy community living in a way that regenerates the natural environment; connected to the land, our food and each other.

From our Farm Shop to monthly workshops, annual events and our many volunteering opportunities โ€” we want to share the joys of our urban oasis with you.

Please book for larger groups, leave pooch at home (we have sheep & chooks!) and
only pick fruit, veg or flowers when you’re with one of our team!
