Climate friendly food in your neighbourhood
Save the date for the revival of our Festival!
Sunday 10th of March, 2024
This is a much-loved event where Kelmarna celebrates the harvest season by inviting the community over to the farm for a fun day filled with amazing contributions from local chefs, bakers, coffee roasters, musicians and speakers!
There will be an abundance of kai, interesting kōrero and wonderful music performances from well-known talents from Tāmaki Makaurau. We’re catering to people of all ages with a kids field, organic produce & seedlings, stalls and raffles with great prizes. This event is not to be missed and a wonderful way to celebrate the remaining summer evenings, the most beautiful time of year to come together at the farm.
Join us and make a meaningful contribution to nurturing and growing Kelmarna, helping us continue to build a more resilient and impactful community farm.
Changing our food system and showcasing a better model begins here, working together in collaboration. Every investment we make in this work is critical, and right now we need your help to weather a challenging financial period.
Become a member today to keep us on track with our vision of a regenerative local food system which supports climate change mitigation, urban resilience and community wellbeing.
We’re thrilled to have another series of Farm Dinners running next month!
These magical dining experiences give you the opportunity to celebrate the bounty of our land, by dining right in the heart of the gardens!
We have a total of eight nights, with our restaurant partners taking two nights each.
Chefs will apply their creative lens to use as much as possible from Kelmarna’s 1.7 hectares to create a one-off menu for these highly anticipated events.
We’d love you to join our 40+ year journey to support a resilient, healthy community living in a way that regenerates the natural environment; connected to the land, our food and each other.
Kelmarna Community Farm is nestled in the heart of Auckland’s Ponsonby area on 4.5 acres of land leased from the council. The gate to our thriving organic farm is open to the community at all times and we welcome you to come experience, learn and enjoy all we have to offer. From our Farm Shop to monthly workshops, annual events and our many volunteering opportunities — we want to share the joys of our urban oasis with you.
Please book for larger groups, leave pooch at home (we have sheep & chooks!) and
only pick fruit, veg or flowers when you’re with one of our team!
